A Measuring Oops

Project Day is the best day ever!! I love a good project day in the middle of this busy life. While out vintage store shopping, I am always on the hunt for a great raw wooden frame at a great price. I will figure out what to do with any frame of any size. This one was found in a local shop in the basement. He was dusty and dirty but simply handsome. I love the two toned coloring.

As luck would have it, on our way home I found a set of 4 hand-sketched renderings of various farmhouse scenes on Marketplace. I knew these would pair very well together. When they arrived I was ecstatic. As it was beautiful.

What do I do with the other three prints? Hmmm. Well, let's make frames! This was my first attempt at making frames. I measured out each peice then cut the board down to size. When they did not match up the way I was thinking they should, we improvised. A measuring oops turned into a win!!

These large 18x18 farmhouse mashup pictures make a statement. I am in love!
