Farmhouse Mashup

Hi friends! I am sharing a personal project with everyone that I did a few years ago. I call it "Farmhouse Mashup". This was a crazy pairing of two pieces that I bought several years apart. Which came first the sign or the frame. Hmmm!

The white sign was a gift for my hubby for his birthday many moons ago. He really enjoys the lyrics and I really like the chippy paint look to the sign. So in the cart it went! Alas, it never made it to the wall. Oh well, thats life. He and I were thrifting one day, several years later, when I spotted a chunky square frame that was really heavy. But also really stunning! I had no idea what I was going to do with but knew I had to have it. One night we were just chilling out watching some random show and I sprang up out of the chair. A thought just landed in my head at 10:00 at night. "I wonder if that white sign would fit in the new frame". He thought I was crazy but it worked. Cool.  

The next day I got to work. Collect white sign, chunky square frame, black paint, paint brush, tape and a few screws. Boom Farmhouse Mashup!
