Fur Baby Alert
This wonderful 1960s kitchen table was one of our first purchases we made for our new to us cabin. I wanted an outdoor eating area for the back porch. This was a great start!
Several months later...My sweet hubby surprised me for my birthday with a giant present. Look at the wrap job!
A complete surprise. He knew I wanted benches to add to the table in order to replicate a pinic table. He found a local craftsman and together they decided on the perfect style. Both guys did a great job. I love them. Added bonus...the seats are wide enough for an adult butt!! LOL.
Once the life settled down we picked a pretty Sunny Yellow for our table and those beautiful benches. Lucy, Stuart and Captain Hook could not contain their couriosity. They insisted on helping mommy paint.
The day wore on but the babies were still right in the middle of it all. Such sweetness!
By the end of the day, the table and benches were sanded, cleaned and painted. I also stained the top of the table and benches with Walnut. I love the finished product. Now the babies have something pretty to play on!
